campaign for grade-level reading logoThe Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, with support from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, will host a special pre-conference session involving State Afterschool Network (SAN) directors and state leads for the GLR Campaign. The focus of the gathering will be to explore opportunities for greater alignment and collaboration to improve 3rd grade reading proficiency within states. The group will hear from leaders in Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Connecticut, and other states that are successfully integrating the frameworks, resources, and infrastructure of the GLR Campaign with the work of their SANs and 21st CCLC-funded programs. The combined commitment, capacity, and effectiveness of these partnerships hold the promise of putting many more low-income children on the path to success in school and in life.
