An award-winning author with over 500 publications, Dr. Linda Darling-Hammond has been named one of the nation’s ten most influential people affecting educational policy; in 2008 and 2020, she led the education transition teams for Presidents Obama and Biden.
With roots in instruction, Dr. Darling-Hammond began her career as a public school teacher and co-founded a preschool and a high school. Currently, Dr. Darling-Hammond serves as President and CEO of the Learning Policy Institute, Professor Emeritus at Stanford University, and President of the California State Board of Education.
