A/V consent form*
Presenters are responsible, at their sole cost and expense, for providing, or making arrangements directly with the Caribe Royale/PSAV Audiovisual Services to provide, LCD projectors, laptops, overheads, microphones, and any other technology, equipment, supplies, and/or materials needed to conduct their presentations.

Presenters can rent equipment, if needed, by filling out a rental form directly with PSAV. This form will be available on the Beyond School Hours website in fall of 2019.

Foundations will provide a complimentary screen and power cord in each workshop room.

Foundations facts*
Foundations will notify presenters of their acceptance no later than November 10, 2019.

Lead and Co-Presenters are asked to register for the Beyond School Hours conference within 30 days of notification of their acceptance. Lead and Co-Presenters who do not register within this timeframe may be removed from the conference schedule.

Lead presenters will receive a discounted conference registration fee of $299. Co-presenters will receive a discounted conference registration fee of $569.

All travel and lodging costs and other arrangements are the presenter's responsibility.

Presenters must be willing to repeat their workshop(s) during two or three time slots during the conference, as scheduled by Foundations, Inc.

Presenters are solely responsible for duplicating and providing copies of their handouts to workshop participants.

Upon arrival, presenters are to check in at the BSH registration desk to receive their Presenter badge.

Presenters are asked to distribute BSH-supplied evaluation forms to workshop attendees and collect them at the end of the workshop session. A Foundations staff member will collect the completed evaluations from presenters at the conclusion of each workshop.

Do not sell or promote your products or services.*
Foundations will be providing four exhibitor session timeslots for explicitly promoting products or services. Information about these exhibitor sessions will be made available via the BSH website and e-mailed to past exhibitors.

Presenters found to be promoting their products or services during a normal workshop timeslot may be banned from future BSH conferences.

Hints for Presenters
Limit lecture time and provide plenty of opportunities for audience participation.

Make sure that your workshop abstract accurately reflects what you will be presenting. If your abstract needs to be modified before the conference, contact bsh@foundationsinc.org.

Everyone in your audience has knowledge to share. Provide opportunities for group discussion or idea-sharing.

If you have participants introduce themselves, be mindful that this practice does not use up too much of your presentation time. Consider alternative ice breakers, especially with large groups.

Conference attendees like to receive “take-aways”, so plan to provide write-ups or items for distribution.

Provide your email address to attendees so they may contact you with questions or requests for your materials.

Signature
