Presenter FAQ

Below you’ll find important information about presenting at BSH 2022.


The deadline for presenter applications is July 31, 2021.  Foundations will notify presenters of their acceptance no later than November 12, 2021.

Lead and co-presenters are asked to register for the Beyond School Hours conference within 30 days of notification of their acceptance. Presenters or co-presenters who do not register by January 15, 2022, will be removed from the schedule of workshops.

Conference Rates

Lead presenters will receive a discounted conference registration fee of $299. Co-presenters will receive a discounted conference registration fee of $569.  (Standard registration rate is $609.)

All travel and lodging costs and other arrangements are the presenter’s responsibility.


Presenters will be scheduled to repeat their workshop(s) during two or three time slots during the conference, as scheduled by Foundations, Inc.  Each workshop is 75 minutes long.

Upon arrival, presenters are to check in at the BSH registration desk to receive their presenter badge.

Handouts & Evaluations

Presenters are solely responsible for duplicating and providing copies of their handouts to workshop participants.

Presenters are asked to distribute BSH-supplied evaluation forms to workshop attendees and collect them at the end of the workshop session. A Foundations staff member will collect the completed evaluations from presenters at the conclusion of each workshop.

Self Promotion

These workshops are professional development, not sales pitches.  DO NOT SELL OR PROMOTE YOUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.

Foundations will be providing exhibitor session timeslots for explicitly promoting products or services. Contact for more information about these Solution Showcases.

Presenters found to be promoting their products or services during a normal workshop timeslot may be banned from future BSH conferences.

AV Equipment

Foundations will provide a screen and power cord in each workshop room.  Any other AV equipment must be provided by the presenters.

Presenters are responsible, at their sole cost and expense, for providing, or making arrangements directly with the Caribe Royale/Encore Audiovisual Services to provide, LCD projectors, laptops, overheads, microphones, and any other technology, equipment, supplies, and/or materials needed to conduct their presentations.
