On Friday, February 25, 2022, Beyond School Hours will be hosting our first ever STEM fair – headlined by Captain Barrington Irving of Flying Classroom, the youngest person and first black pilot to ever fly solo around the world.
The STEM fair is an interactive environment where attendees move from station to station and experience 15-minute bite-sized lessons over two 75-minute periods.
Each presenter will have a U-shaped table setup with an easel, enabling hands-on activities, interactive discussions, or whatever best fits your bite-sized presentation! The stations will be spaced out around a large room, with attendees able to move freely from one presentation to the next.
At your station, what is the one key strategy, resource, or activity educators will walk away with? How will you make your presentation interesting and memorable? While all STEM-related topics are welcome, we are especially looking for stations that relate to our conference strands.
