Building Confident Collaborators: Improv and Music for S.E.L.
Meredith Scott Lynn, WRiTE BRAIN WORLD
This highly interactive session explores how to use creative improv games and songwriting activities to inspire students of all ages (including English Learners) to collaborate and build their confidence. Improv offers a fun, playful and non-intimidating way to create a community of trust and cooperation in your afterschool program, while collaborative songwriting activities encourage students to express and share their emotions freely. In this session educators will learn from hands-on activities, share best practices, and leave with colorful materials and resources to jumpstart an authentic S.E.L. program!
