Math ability is the single strongest indicator of students’ future academic and financial success.
That is why all of us need to champion math and help students find success and joy
in mathematics. It can be done, and games can help. This session will teach participants fun games and activities they can use with their students to help them gain math fact mastery and problem-solving development. Games help students think beyond the math that is on a worksheet to the math they will see in a real-world context. The games played during this session are focused on developing an understanding of number sense, algebraic thinking, and problem-solving that serve to build math sense. Come and learn fun ways to use games to promote math in your program and help students find success!
