Emily Duguid is the Vice President of Education at the Orlando Science Center, where she has worked since 2010. She oversees a team of informal educators who deliver high-quality STEM learning experiences through camps, classes, workshops, and school partnerships. Emily currently serves as the Principal Investigator for several federally funded grant programs. With more than 20 years of experience in informal science education, Emily began her career at the Buehler Planetarium developing public astronomy programs before transitioning to teaching middle school science. She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction – Secondary Science from Florida Atlantic University. Throughout her career, Emily has been dedicated to expanding access to meaningful STEM education that fosters essential 21st-century skills—including creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking.
