Diane Melley is the Former Vice President of Global Citizenship Initiatives in IBM Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs and retired last year as the Executive Director and Senior Advisor at the Philadelphia Foundation. She has previously led the IBM Impact Grants portfolio, supporting nonprofits, schools, and government organizations and the IBM Centennial Celebration of Service, engaging more than 300,000 volunteers across 120 countries, and IBM’s On Demand Community, IBM’s global initiative to support employee and retiree volunteer efforts worldwide.
Diane oversaw IBM’s Business Integration team, aligning corporate citizenship assets with IBM’s business strategies across the public sector, education, and small and medium business industry segments. She also led IBM’s Corporate Social Responsibility and humanitarian disaster response efforts worldwide.
Diane is also a Board and National Advisory Committee Member with Foundations, Inc. She joined the NAC in 2024 and has supported Foundations, Inc. as a corporate partner and champion since its founding, citing the organization’s “world class” conference and ongoing initiatives and the team’s dedication to improving student achievement.
A 2001 Eisenhower Fellow to Belgium and Ireland, Diane is past chair of the Eisenhower Alumni Regional Fellows Group. She serves on the boards of Points of Light, the Philadelphia Education Fund where she is current chairperson, the Chamber of Commerce Arts and Business Council, and the Conference Board’s Corporate Contribution Council.
